Have you signed up for Putt for a Purpose yet? It is on September 17th at the Arizona Biltmore from 6pm – 8pm. Everyone is welcome. You can putt the course or just come for some fun. The net proceeds benefit Community Dental. The cost is $25 per person or $90 for a foursome. There still is a limited number of hole sponsorships are available. This event is sponsored by: Cruz Tequila, Fiji Water, Republic Beverage, China Mist Tea, CSI Meetings and Events, Karen Doan Events and of course the exquisite Arizona Biltmore. RSVP by September 13th.

Help Wanted: Are you interested in becoming more involved in HIP? We are looking for two new board members, one from the Hotel/Resort sector and one from the Catering Company sector. The commitment is two hours per month. One hour for the board meetings on the First Tuesday of every month at 8:30am at Paradise Bakery on Tatum and Shea and One hour for the networking events each month excluding July. We do ask that you commit to being on the board for a minimum of two years. Please let me know if you are interested.

Thank you to everyone who donated school supplies to WTAP. We gather a lot of supplies and they were grateful to receive them.

HIP’s Sept Event

Hey fellow HIPsters, get out your putters and join us on September 17th for the First Annual Putt for a Purpose event from 6pm – 8pm at the Arizona Biltmore. Net proceeds benefit Community Dental. We will have great prizes, silent auction, food and beverage. Bring your friends.
There is a rumor that the Tooth Fairy will be there as well! So bring your smiles too.

Grey Goose Cocktails from Aug Hip Event

The following are Grey Goose recipes prepared by Alliance Beverage at the Estate House during the August HIP event:

Peartini
2 parts Grey Goose La Poire
¼ part Disaronno
¼ part Simple Syrup
½ part Lemon juice

Garnish with a slice of Pear. “if available”

Down the Stretch
1 ½ part Grey Goose Le Citron
3 parts sweetened tea
1 part sour mix
Float with Chambord

Garnish with Lemon wedge

Putt for Purpose Sept 17th

Hey fellow HIPsters, thank you to everyone who attended the HIP event last night. And a special thank you to Liz Dodds for a great event. Alliance Beverage prepared a wonderful summer drink with Grey Goose which will be posted on the website shortly. Thank you Pete.

If you were not able to attend but have some school supplies I will be still be accepting school supplies to benefit WTAP all next week, please drop them off at Sanctuary.

On to our next exciting event PUTT FOR A PURPOSE. This is to benefit Community Dental. Karen Doan with Karen Doan Events has been working very hard to put on this great event. You do not need to be a golfer to participate, it is just a little putt putt course. So gather up friends and adult family members (we are being sponsored by a liquor company so under 21 is not allowed, sorry) and come to this great event! There are still just a very few holes left for sponsorship so if you are interested in being a hole sponsor get your form in right away. There will be lots of great prizes and a silent auction. Come join us for this first annual event.

Thank you again for a great event last night. We were able to start our Susan Fuller Memorial Fund with a portion of the raffle.
